Hotels in Milan

Hello, I am currently trying to find and decide on a good hotel in Milan for 2 nights the end of June. I need something close to the Central Train Station. Another question is what is the easiest way to get to the Milan Linate(sp) airport??
Thanks for all your help

What price range for the hotel?

There is a shuttle bus to Linate from centrale that runs frequently.

I stayed at the Mini Hotel Aosta in June and it is across the street from the central station. I'm not sure what you mean by good hotel but this was nice, clean,ac,mini bar etc.

Give us a budget and description of what you want in a hotel. There's also a Hilton next to the station which is a nice 4 star. Classic Hilton. There is also the Principe de Savoia which is one of the best.
Be more specific, and someone will have an answer.
Ciao,
Melissa

Hi

My wife and I went to Milan in June last year. We stayed at Hotel Marconi
located at Via F. Filzi number 3 (near Repubblica Metro station) and within
walking distance from the central train station. I have posted a short
review of the hotel and a trip report on my personal homepage
www.gardkarlsen.com I have also posted some of the pictures that I took
on the trip. Maybe it can be of some use to you.

Regards

If you want to be by the station and want a 4 star, the Hilton is fine. As for going to Linate, there is a bus at the central station that will take you there (but it might take a while with stops in between), otherwise jump in a taxi. Won't cost more than 20 Euro. 25 If there's traffic.
