Hotels in Luzern
Im a solo traveller. I'll be in Luzern end of April/beginning May. I'm looking for a hotel. My budget is less than 120CHF.
I'm traveling by train and foot. So location hopefully is near town within walking distance to attractions.
Another thing I need is free wifi service in the room.
Thanks a lot

@ kenlee6 -- For Lucerne, you might consider the Hotel des Alpes -- it suited my needs as a solo traveller, but I have no idea what it's current rates are, and it doesn't get uncontested positive reviews. For other options, check booking.com

Sorry if my notices of multiple posts crossed with your attempts to get your question to the right place -- my intention has been to make sure that anyone who wants to provide information does so in a SINGLE place with awareness of the information that others offer.
BTW, any posts tagged for Switzerland are part of the Europe forum.
Good luck.

If you want to do so, pull up the post, click the orange triangle in the upper right corner (it'll lead to a message titled "report abuse", but don't worry -- it's just a way to contact the editor) and say, with explanation, why you want to delete the message.
But don't worry -- you can leave multiple active threads, just make sure you check them all to make sure you get all the advice that Fodorites offer. And be aware that we won't necessarily have the advantage of access to info that appears on only one thread. (So, for example, if you say on ONE thread that you've changed your cost criteria, those responding to your OTHER threads won't necessarily know....) It's messy, but not a disaster. No puppies have died, so really, its OK.
Welcome to Fodor's!

For future reference, anything tagged "Switzerland" is automatically also tagged "Europe".
KJA has put a note on your third thread with a link to this one, so ideally people will come here to respond.
I stayed at the Alpha Hotel several years ago, and it was definitely affordable. This past year, we stayed instead at Le Stelle, a more centrally located inexpensive hotel, but I think that is usually a bit above your budget. At the time I was looking for a hotel, the Alpha cost more than Le Stelle, because I found a pretty big discount for Le Stelle on www.booking.com .
