Good evening, Jane
Stayed at the GRAND HOTEL AMPREZZO almost 30 years ago, but it still remains as one of the best little old

star hotel with 78 room, recall the bedroom as just slightly smaller than
the bathroom, They did have a very
good dining room. Their fax 0436 42 41.
Look into http://www.sunrise.it/cortina/alberg...index_eng.html.

Hi, We stayed at the St Michele Hotel , very pleasant , great location. All rooms differ so try to choose the one that you personally prefer, ...hotel is in the old palazzo where the famous Accademia Etrusca first met.
Lovely place Cortona. Good luck.
PS Do not miss Les Celles

Hello! Guys don't make a confusion between Cortona (near Arezzo in Tuscany), and Cortina d'Ampezzo (near Belluno in North-east Veneto)..!!!
Anyway, go and see: http://www.sunrise.it/cortina/alberg...ona/index.html. Nice hotel with beatifoul view of the Dolomites. ASk for the room's Annexe with very cheap prices.Ciao

Check my other posting to your query. Definitely look at the Hotel Natale - Lovely hotel - pinewood all over - large deck looking up at the mountains. Definite great stay!!!
