Hotel Sully St Germain ????

We are taking advantage of a great deal on a USAir flight from PHL to CDG at the end of August. With the myriad of hotels in Paris, I have focused on the 5th& 6th, 2 & 3 star accommodations. Does anyone have any experience with the Hotel Sully St Germain or any of its sister hotels? I have read reviews on Tripadvisor, but have not seen any recent mentions on this board. Also, does anyone have recommendations re: Latin Qtr 2&3 stars? Thank you.

I saw this but hesitated to reply because it has been several years since I stayed there. We loved it and the location. I have heard it has been renovated. We would have stayed there last month but we were three and rented an apartment instead.

Hotel College de France on Rue Thenard, off of Blvd. St. Germain gets a thumbs up from Thingorjus. It is down the street from the Cluny Museum and around the corner from the Sorbonne. Pre-Verre is across the street.

Lovely staff.
