Try looking up Hotel d'Arlatan on google. It is charmingly decorated, reasonable, and very well located in Arles. It's been a few years since we stayed there, but I've read good things about it here recently.

I too stayed at the d'Arlatan quite a while ago and loved it, but it might be above your price range now.

Carolyn: Le Calendal is wonderful. We stayed there last year and would definitely stay there again. It is in the old town, walking distance of many restaurants and sites, helpful and pleasant staff, good breakfast, etc. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea/drinks each day if we were there.<BR><BR>We had an excellent room (some rooms were quite tiny). I don't remember the room number, but it was upstairs in the front and had a large terrace overlooking the ruins of the Roman theater. The bathroom was wonderful. <BR><BR>Arles is an excellent base for day trips to Pont du Gard, the camargue, etc.<BR><BR>j
