Hotel/Spa recommendation for exhausted parents anywhere in Switzerland!

Planning a spontaneous trip to Switzerland and seeking recommendations for a hotel/spa anywhere in Switzerland; has to be child friendly! Exhausted parents to a 4yr old and 11mth old require some respite and relaxed family time! Ideally looking for a hotel which has a spa and kidsclub/children's activities. Not necessarily looking for an action packed vacation but the opportunity to explore (either on foot or cycle) the beautiful countryside would be welcomed. Happy to travel to any region. Please help! Thanks a million!

The Bernerhof in Gstaad.

Gstaad is a lovely village, plenty of hikes in the area. The hotel has good facilities for kids and they can recommend a full range of hikes for any ability.

The spa facilities are good, not absolute top of the line, but overall, quite nice. And the hotel has a great village location.

Allow me to add that the last time we stayed at the Beau Rivage there were a lot of children both in the indoor/outdoor pool which is VERY nice as are the spa facilities so children definitely seem to be welcome. I'll probably be thinking of your post when I am next there at the end of August and hope you find some suitable location.

I like the Gstaad idea, too, and there may be enough diversion for both you and the children in that area, especially if you don't plan to do too much far-ranging travel to other areas.
