Hotel or B&B

We're doing a transatlantic cruise in April and need an inexpensive place to stay in Rome the night of the 24th, the night before we go to the airport and return to Texas.. We've been to Rome before with a tour group and didn't make any arrangements, but we saw most everything. How to easily get to the airport would be helpful. Thanks.

I like taking a taxi to the airport. Your hotel can make the arrangements.

Check venere.com for hotels based on your budget and date.

If you don't need to go into Rome, but just want a place overnight, try this place, which was recommended to us: http://www.bbluanainn.it/dovesiamo.html It's about a 10 min taxi ride to the airport. If you have a little time, you can also visit Ostia Antica, which is very close to the hotel.

I think we found it on slowtrav.com. the people are supposed to be very friendly and nice.
