I am not sure, but I am thinking of staying there in mid-July myself? How did you get a quote? I have sent two emails and have received no replies? I have read a lot about the Hotel Continental on the Ramblas. If I don't hear from Hotel Jardi soon, I will look at the Hotel Continental. Maria

Hi,

We had a problem with the noise and changed hotels after one night (this was about 8 years ago--don't know if things have changed). The picturesque square in front changes to vespa city at night. Hard to sleep at 2am. No interior rooms were available at the time so we moved to the Regencia Colon. If you're calling the Jardi you might check to see if this is still a problem, if the vespas might keep you up (I know, who sleeps before 5am anyways in Barc. . .).
