Hotel in Prague

Where should I stay in Prague? (travelling alone, for 2 days, not in an expensive room, but if possible with bathroom)

Thank you very much!

Prague is such a beautiful city, but it is not an easy city to find suitable lodging without some research first. The following site features about 88 hotels in Prague and compares them as far as amenities, location and prices:

http://www.interacta.cz/accol/default.htm

The following site has good prices as well: http://www.praguebedandbreakfast.com./

We used AVE Accommodations at www.avetravel.cz We gave them our requirements & they found the perfect place for us: safe, close to everything, inexpensive, shower & toilet in room, clean. They have a number of listings in all price ranges.

We arrived in Prague by rail and before we could gain our directions we were approached by a woman offering us an appartment. We spent some time questioning her and found out it had a bathroom beds was within 5 mins walking was less than $AUS55 etc and agreed to look at before we agreed to take it.
Turned out to be ideal and we took it. So you dont have to book beforehand!!!

check out the link below for great hotel suggestions. I stayed at the Hotel Salvator about a 3 minute walk to the old square. It was pretty nice, great buffet and friendly, young english-speaking staff. Have a wonderful time. I find that everytime I plan a trip, I want to somehow include going back to Prague.

http://www.andel3w.dk/prague/english/prag10.htm
