Looking for a nice hotel in Paris in late June for under 75.00 per night. Anyone have any ideas?

75 what? If that is US dollars, that is pretty cheap for a major European capital. There are hotels in that range, but most wouldn't be called nice. Some of the cheapest hotels I have heard of that are considered good for that price, anyway, are the Grand hotel Leveque in the 7th arr and the Castex Hotel in the 4th. That's only a few weeks away, however, so you may not find what you want--both those hotels are very popular. I have an acquaintance who couldn't book any of the best budget hotels for early July sometime in May, but she did finally get a room in a very cheap hotel about that price that is not well-publicized and looks okay, although not glamorous -- that's the Hotel Sevres Azur near rue de Rennes in the 7th arr. I think you can see it on www.parishotels.com It's a decent and convenient location.

Elena, Is it just you or do you need a double room? I stayed at hotel LeLoiret in a great location in the 1st last year for $70. It was a three star hotel and I was happy with it but it was a single room. I would imagine you can find a two star for that price, just search the websites.

Grand Hotel des Balcons has some rooms in your price range and is in a terrific location in the 6th near Luxembourg Gardens and Blvd. St. Germain. I just stayed there, in a single, for about $75 US per night. It was a simple room but had a private bath and a small balcony and was spotlessly clean. No air conditioning though, which I think you would want in late June. They have a website at www.balcons.com. <BR> <BR>I have heard good things about Hotel Muguet in the 7th and I believe it has air conditioning and is inexpensive.

There are actually quite a few hotels in that price range. A useful site is www.france.com - click on hotel search and you can enter the price range that you want and they will show you pictures,reviews and availability - you can also book online.
