Hotel in Geneva

This seems like a luxury problem when the world is on the brink of a nuclear disaster, turmoil in the Middle East and so forth. But I was wondering if anyone knows of a good alternative to the Beau Rivage in Geneva, another good hotel, not as expensive but with many of the same advantages. I've searched the forums but not found anything. I suppose maybe there isn't a good alternative.

Maybe I should have mentioned that I'm looking for a nice place to take my wife for a weekend on her birthday, as usual, and I was thinking of Geneva this year, having tried Vevey and Montreux earlier.

www.booking.com/city/fr/evian-les-bains.en.html

Nearby Geneva is baeutiful nicer in many ways

super cute little spa town.

Had lunch next to Sofia Loren and Carlo Ponti there

at Ermitage superb for price from 150 euros or so.

Plenty of nice places there at great prices compared

to super expensive metro citified Geneva for me.

Happy Hunting,
