hotel help !!!

folks,

really need your help. had the Brian Hotel for 2 nights Sept 14th and when I called to confirm today they said they didn't have a reservation. Moreover we are arriving in amsterdam from paris only at 11pm at night. Can anyone recommend some budget hotels that have late night reception pls? or a tourist booking agency? can't imagine any hotel that may have rooms avail this late! i
ve been calling all morning but most are booked.

sounds good - will check it out now. also anyone stayed at HOTEL SAN LUCHESIO the monastery near Vondel park? says 65E for double, no curfew etc.

Found Van Onna in Jordaan for 80E for double.

San Luchesio has a website, and it says check-in is until 10pm.
http://www.sanluchesio.nl/uk_index.htm

van Onna is a 1*, very spartan, people on Tripadvisor said it was clean but a few commented on the poor beds (boards with thin mattress).

Very cheap hotels in Amsterdam can be quite dodgy, so be careful.

yes i nixed that Van one for that reason - but San L. said 11pm arrival was okay - i had called this morning. but not too many reviews out there because they only started accepting paying guests last year.

have emailed kap for reservation - i don't mind twin for 60E - that's great. will keep looking! thx again for ur help - i don't know wat i'd do without this forum!!

www.amsterdamby.com lists 3 one* hotels... this website has a good collection of hotels (I look at the Parisby.com site all the time, great photos..)

I don't know their booking rules/fees, so I'd try finding the 3 hotels' webs or phone numbers to deal directly with the hotel.

Hotel De Westertoren
Hotel Manofa
Bicycle Hotel

"Hotel Abba"
www.abbabudgethotel.com
The "rooms" link doesn't work for me...it was in the "under $100" list on Tripadvisor, w/ good comments...
