has anyone stayed at this hotel? good or bad. thank you for your help.
Hi! We stayed there last year. It's a "regular" hotel, on a side street near the Promenade des Anglais. It's quite a bit further away from the center, but walkable if you like to walk. At first they offered us a horrible room. Even the maid said we should ask for a better one! If you have any specific questions, I will be happy to answer. We used Starwood points, so the price was right.
My daughter is at the University of Nice and is housed just down the street from this hotel. She cautioned us NOT to stay at this hotel as it has hookers standing outside at all hours of the day and night. In fact, it is quite a topic of conversation among the international students staying nearby. THANKS for the info on the discount rate at the Westminster. Called and got the same rate as you were quoted, but at first they tried to sell the room for the full price. Called the hotel direct, and they quoted an even higher price for the same room.
