Hotel - Florence

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Baglioni or Hotel Davanzati in Florence? If you had to choose which one would you choose? I found good deals on both hotels for November.

Thank you.

They’re quite different categories. Baglioni is considered to be a 4* category and the Davanzati a 3*.

But for my liking I would choose the Davanzati due to the location. I do not care for the area that the Baglioni is located near to the train station.

In fact, I would highly recommend a different hotel that we stayed at: Hotel Berchielli. It’s along the river and about half a block away from the Ponte Vecchio. We were able to request and receive a riverview room at no extra cost.
