I stayed there in February and was very pleased. It is conveiient to the bus stop the metro and the people are nice. The room was small but clean and inexpesive.I have also stayed down the street at Hotel St. Jacque and was very pleased. The street can be noisy at night but it is a safe area and my favoritew area to stay in Paris

My husband and I have booked this hotel for the end of May sight unseen. However, I have been in contact with someone via this forum who has stayed there. they said that they would return. the rooms were small, but how much time does anyone spend in their room when in Paris. We booked a room with a balconey which I understand is large enought to fit a small table and two chairs, large enough for two adults to sit on at the same time. We have stayed inthe 5th before, it is a very safe area with lots of cafes and bistros that are reasonable priced. Also, you can walk just about anywhere from the 5th.

I am the person that Lori contacted. We stayed there 2 years ago, and would definitely go back. The hotel is simple, but comfortable. The rooms are quite small, but that is common in Europe. We had a room with a balcony, and most nights we ate on our balcony and watched the sun set. It was wonderful, and the price can't be beat.
