I just checked @ national rail website and it's as janisj said. You would need to take the tube ( at Euston ) either the Victoris Line or Northen Line to Kings Cross.

Yes, always best to use departure London and website will come up with proper station.

Oh Lord you all must think I am dopey as all get out! Now it makes sense. I was mixing up the tube and train station information....told you I was a totally newbie to this. You can stop shaking your heads now and saying "bless her heart" to yourselves or at least until the next time! lol

Can't thank you enough for being so supportive and patient and informative! Kings Cross to York it is!

An easy mistake for newbies. Now you know. I can recommend the chocolate croissants at Pret a Manger, Kings Cross Station. My go to breakfast when heading north.
