They have email there. How about emailing them and asking?

I stayed there in 2001 and there was a hair dryer in my bathroom.

Whats with the champ du mars? You email them, they respond a week a later, you follow up with questions, they don't respond at all. Prior to the 1st., they said to inquire on summer vacancies after the 1st. What a rude, arrogant outfit over there.<BR>Any thoughts? I mean, what is their story? Even their responses seem to suggest, &quot;don't bug me!&quot;

My experience exactly, Mark. The front desk is not at all service oriented when you're a guest there either. There was a hair dryer in our room, though.

Maybe they're overworked (but a week without any response isn't good for business); I believe it's run by the husband and wife. Correct?

Maybe they're overworked, but if so, splurge a little and hire some help, pocket a few less bucks. They have an &quot;excellent value&quot; reputation, but maybe you hire an extra hand or two to provide decent service and maybe raise rates a couple of euros. Maybe they're just arrogant to foreigners? maybe they've taken Fawlty Towers too literally!
