Hotel Bellagio, Centrale or Belvedere?

After much research, we've narrowed down our choice of where to stay for 7 nights in Bellagio (our 25th anniversary!) to three hotels:

Hotel Centrale: Less expensive. No lake views. Balcony. Very friendly owners.

Hotel Bellagio: Mid-priced. Lake views. No balcony.

Hotel Belvedere: Expensive. Lake views. Balcony.

Which do you recommend and why? (All 3 have air conditioning, a requirement for us.)

By the way, my husband is a very light sleeper, so if anyone knows which of these 3 hotels has the most insulated rooms, that would be appreciated.

Thank you.

We stayed at Hotel Bevedere two years ago and except for the restaurant ( inedible food!) really loved it.

The hotel is located in a quiet, residential area but only a few blocks away from the terraced stairs that lead you down to the center of town.

We had two rooms with balconies facing the lake, and really enjoyed sitting out there most evenings with a glass of wine.

Since Bellagio is all about the views, ( at least to me, it is!), I'd definitely opt for a room with a balcony unless it was way too expensive.

We stayed at one of The Belevedere's apartments because one of our rooms had a plumbing problem. The apartment was beautifully decorated, huge, with an upstairs sleeping loft and large terrace fronting the lake. The only problem we had was that the AC never really cooled the bedroom area very well.

I don't know the others, but I did visit the Belvedere recently (did not stay there) and was impressed. Short walk from center of town in a quiet neighborhood; wonderful views. I would stay there if I returned to Bellagio!

With a week stay I would consider an apt. There are several, but La Limonera is more mid-range and gets good press.

I second Bob's recommendation of La Limonera. I stayed there in May, and really loved it.

We had a medium apartment with lake views for 135E.

If you are interested, click on my name and scroll down to my trip report. It has a review of LL plus a link to their website.

Bellagio is beautiful, you'll have a lovely time.

Happy Anniversary!
