WOW! I feel better now, I'm a total hotel bathroom junky. The last real nice one I stayed in was the Hotel Dei Dogi in Venice- the bathroom was enormous, had a huge tub and large shower, and great bath oils/moisturizer for post-bath. The window opened directly onto a canal, and even though it was an Italian hotel (I have stayed in plenty) they had the terrycloth towels vs "Paper towels." Before that, had a bathroom in an B&B in Australia with an enormous jacuzzi tub, and glass windows all along one wall into the rain forest...but this isn't the Asia board!
Ciao

We loved the bathroom in the Hotel Jolly in Caserta (near Naples). The hotel itself was okay, sort of geared to businesspeople...but the bath was high-tech Italian styling with tub with jacuzzi and shower, seperate. Then toilet and bidet and two sinks.

Breathtaking in black marble with red accent tiles and fixtures, it was also huge and had a (glazed) window you could open to look out onto the palace in Caserta which is the Versailles of Italy and quite magnificent. The bathroom was three quarters as big as the room...very interesting, like the designer shared the preoccupations of those who respond to this thread.(and that would include me!)

Radisson SAS Portman in London - radiant heat in the tile floor and bath amenities in a cool lucite-type holder

Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten in London - suite - No tub, but the shower was very large with two shower heads and a sauna in it. Nice bath amenities, including extras like dental care kit.

Mine would be either the Amstel hotel in Amsterdam - HUGE dinner plate sized shower although the bath wasn't huge. It was just a beautiful bathroom in a beautiful room in a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city! Best amenities were Intercontinental in Singapore (Bulgari Green Tea scented) or Hotel du Crillon (Annick Goutal!). How sad am I?????

One of my favorite things is "bathroom with a view." Had a fabulous one with view over the hillside and down to Lake Iseo and it's island at the I Due Roccoli just outside Iseo Italy.
