Hotel and Restaurant Recommendations France, etc.

Hello Fodorites....any hotel recommendations in the $300 US range for Caen, Amboise, Beaune and also Bruges. Also if you have any restaurants that you love. Trying to help a good friend plan a trip. They will be driving....any restaurant recommendations in Paris also helpful. They will be staying in the 6th.

Thanks so much.

I enjoyed staying at the 4-star Le Manoir les Minimes, an 18th century manor home in Amboise. Free parking and a 5-minute walk from the town center. There are 15 rooms in the main house and the best rooms, the "Manoir Privilège" rooms, have views of the Château. It's an elegant place.

Bruges Bed and Breakfast: Huis Koning. Three room bed and breakfast; kind and gracious hostest; lovely home-cooked breakfast. All three rooms are up a flight of stairs...not for the mobile challenged. A short walk to the main square. Check out the reviews on tripadvisor. We had a great 2-night stay in 2013.

Amboise: Agree with Maribel: Le Manoir les Minimes! Nice to stay close to the castle. Easy parking in front of the hotel. The bathroom was a glassed off area inside the room...didn't both us at all. Loved the ambiance.
