Hostels in Europe
Hi!
I am a newlywed backpacking around Europe for the first time with my husband. I am looking for cheap, clean, centrally-located hostels/hotels in the following cities... I would like to pay around 40-60 euros per night. Thanks so much for your advice!
London
Paris
Rome
Venice
Florence
Barcelona
Granada
Sevilla
Madrid
Salamanca
Bilbao

Assuming it's your honeymoon you will want private rooms - rather than a group room with 2 or 4 others all in bunk beds. Not all hostels have these and they often are booked far in advance - so I would reserve early.
You will probably want to go to one of the more youth-oriented travel guides and web sites to get info on specific hostels.

You will likely be able to meet your budget on average, but some cities will cost more than the average.
For every city you've mentioned, I can think of a better option than a hostel that is either cheaper or only slightly more expensive, particularly if you are thinking of hostel private rooms.
Note the best, cheapest options often book up far in advance.

www.hostelworld.com has reviews of hostels that I have generally found to be pretty accurate.
You can also do searches on tripadvisor.

I've stayed in hostels in Paris, Nice and NYC. And loved it.
I used this site and organization, which helped a lot.
