It has always been a dream of mine to ride on the beach, I know of a couple of places to ride in Ireland, one in Waterville and another in Ventry I do believe. Can anyone tell me a good place to go riding while I'm in Ireland?

I know their are a few places that offer horse riding along beaches in both the Dingle area and Connemara. Not sure of the companies but you can do a search on them

When are you going? I teach riding in Georgia and one of my students is going riding in Ireland in 2 weeks, I can let you know what she thought once she gets back.

You'll be able to find the horses when you get there ... horseback riding is popular at a FRACTION of what we pay in the states. Check the local tourist board and notices in local shops.

(I did one this year in Provence which was fantastic) You ride on the beach, through the mountains and forests, by farms and through small towns and villages. They have a website under Equitours and also look up Cross Country International which is who I used for my France Trip. If you like to ride and want to do a riding trip this is the way to go.
