Honeymoon upgrades

I've heard that airlines will sometimes give couples free upgrades to first-class for their honeymoons if there are seats available. Has this happened to anyone here? If so, did you just tell the gate agent that it was your honeymoon when you checked in for the flight?

It happenned to us 13 years ago. We had booked economy class tickets on Swissair from Chicago to Rome, via Zurich. We spent a bit too much time at our reception and literally ran to the check-in counter about 20 minutes before the flight was scheduled to leave. My husband told the agent that we were sorry we were late due to the wonderful time we were having at our wedding reception. The agent smiled and said, "Well here is a wedding gift from Swissair" and gave us seat assignments in first class. It did have a downside though; we were so spoiled, we don't fly economy class overseas anymore.

So it's not just an urban legend! YAY! Anyone else have stories -- anything more recent?
