Note on my prior post

Renting a car was for the stay in Tuscany. Take a train from Tuscany to Venice.

I'm not sure Delta does a direct flight to Venice every evening. When I go to Delta's website to check flight schedules, it shows Flight 150, the nonstop at 7:10 which you described on April 19 O& April 21, but not on Sunday April 20.

But I was wrong - there is a Delta nonstop from Nice to JFK, Flight 83 which looks like it's every day at 11:30 a.m.

So if you keep the Venice-Nice itinerary or vice-versa, Delta might be a good choice.
