Honeymoon Itinerary advice

We will be in Italy in in mid-May for our honeymoon. So far, our itinerary is as follows:
May 19 - arrive Rome
20 thru 22 - Rome (Hotel Italia)
23 thru 25 - Florence (B&B Peterson)
26 thru 27 - Cinque Terre (giuliano rooms in Verranzza)
28 thru 30 - Venice (B&B Angels)
31 - depart Venice

I am now wondering if I should cut out the Cinque Terre and add those days to Venice and/or Florence due to the length of the train ride to Venice from the Cinque Terre. However, it is unlikely that we will return to Italy anytime soon, so I'm leary about doing so. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

If you've never been to Italy before, you'll probably retract your comment about not going back there anytime soon after you experience the country. The Cinque Terre is one of the most beautiful areas of Italy and a not miss. I still think of the best pesto sauce I ever had at a little shop in Porto Venere.

Hi Z,

My own preference would be to take away one night from the CT and add it to Venice, but you have a very nice trip planned.

Have fun.

Blasphemy ! I would do 2 art cites and one nature venue--for contrast. But, you do really have time for all 4. So, I would drop Florence---eekks!

Hi zulkski,

Any time you can add a day too Venice, is a good idea, you can see most
sights in Florence in a day or so and
it is pretty hectic in the city... have fun

Mike

We just got home from Firenze, Venizia, Roma
