Honeymoon Help?
OK. Spain or Italy? We all know the Italian Riviera is quite amazing, but how about Spain? Southern coast? Area near Barcelona? down to Valencia? Regardless of where your heart lies, got any town names/hotel names worth experiencing? Mille Grazie.

I've been to both the Italian Riveria and the Amalfi Coast, and the Amalfi Coast is the hands down winner for romantic location, unbelievable scenery, and food that's so good it might make you cry. Favorite hotel there? Definitely the HOtel Poseidon in Positano which treats each guest like a long lost relative, and can't do enough to make your stay perfect. Drinking a Bellini or Prosecco on one of the jr. suite terraces overlooking town would be the perfect start to any honeymoon. And then there's the boat ride to Capri, the gardens in Ravello, and the outstanding food in the mountain village of Montepertuso. Dream on...

Hmm... I guess I missread your question. You wanted Spain? Sorry, I haven't been there in awhile, but am going this summer, and would be glad to post after that! I still think the Amalfi Coast is worth checking out for your honeymoon.

It depends. Spain is a more down to earth place. Also depends when you are traveling. There are small towns traveling around spain--near Portugal-- La Coruna,etc...
I went to Capri yrs ago. I want to go back to Italy.
Need more info.
Also- anyone have any ideas on where to stay in Greece for a honeymoon-- in Santorini and Crete? THanks

Depends what you are looking for, Amalfi etc has the romance, Southern Spain has busy and lively beach resort areas plus inland beautiful scenary, Greek islands are popular, have a glass of wine ( or chamapgne ) as the sun goes down in Santorini, magic.
