Honeymoon...Dinner
I am getting frantic, realizing I should have begun planning this trip months ago!
We are looking for one *big* night out, which I realize may not necessarily be expensive. We would like to stay under $100/person, but here is what we are looking for...
Romance, romance, romance
Fabulous food that we'll remember
The ability to dress up (suit for him, semi-formal for me)
We are not picky about location, because we can find our way around, although it often helps with the romance. And, if you have any suggestions for strolls or locations afterwards, I'd love to hear them. Price quotes (as you remember them) and menu recommendations are greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance.

If I am correct, try typing "paris (or appropriate city) AND romantic AND restaurant" in the text box at the top of this page. For Paris, you'll get over 50 threads, which will mean a bit of sorting through.
However, here's a recent one which seems to be on point: http://fodors.com/forums/threadselec...p;tid=34425087

Yes, I have read other posts and it is about Paris
I still remember how scatterbrained I was when planning a wedding and honeymoon~
Yeagy,
Lesli has the right idea, do the text search first then ask more specific questions. Any of us who have been to Paris, each have favorite restaurants, you will get lists and lists!
Good luck~

And now I will really answer the question (providing your destination is Paris)
First, If you are going to Paris I think subscribing to Zagats.com is a worthy investment. If you use their search function (sorry Lesli), you can search for a restaurant by neighborhood, food rating, atmosphere and price.
As for my choice for you I suggest
GEORGES at the Pompidou Center. Elegant, yet modern. Modorn French Cuisine and a great view over Paris.
19, rue Beaubourg (Rambuteau) Paris 014 tel 4784799
