Hondarribia to St Jean De Luz
Hello
Does anyone know how to get from Hondarribia to St Jean De Luz by bus. I would like to go there for a day trip but having difficulty finding the info in english. From San Sebastian there is the pesa bus, 50 min journey but would prefer to go from Hondarribia. I'm spending about 10 days in SS and 1-2 nights in Hondarribia end of Sept. thank you

You might want to check out taxis. It's a total of 12 miles from one place to the other.
You'll probably have to pay for both ways, as well as the toll, as it does cross a country border.
Try google, I hear it's the latest thing.

You can take the ferry from Hondarribia to Hendaye and catch the local bus up to St Jean-de-Luz. It's a regular crossing that runs often. You can carch the bus to St Jean-de-Luz it in front of the train station. There is also a taxi stand at the train station.

I would stop by the tourist office in SS and ask about the bus-I would be surprised if it didn't make a stop in Hondarribia.I loved the walk-steep- up into the old part of Hondarribia. The views are amazing! I even peeked inside the tiny Parador at the top -10 rooms!
I Saint Jean de Luz there is my favorite shop for macarons.I like them better than the ones at Laduree in Paris!

They were originally made to celebrate the wedding of Louis XIV-the charming little church is sort of hidden amongst all the shops and restaurants. At least the street is now only for pedestrians
