It's an Airport Hotel...do you really need to stay at the airport? In town there are many fine hotels with more character and nicer neighborhoods. I have been in the lobby of the Hilton, and it struck me as rather bland by comparison. Of course I tend to be biased against big chains.

Thank you for your response. Do you have any suggestions for hotels in the center of Copenhagen then? Elaine [email protected]

We have enjoyed the Skt Petri, modern and fun, and also Ibsens Hotel, a bit less expensive. In both cases you are close to the Nørreport train station and easy walking distance to Rosenborg Castle, the Round Tower, the Art Museum, and much more. If you're into music, the museum of musical instruments, Musikmuseet (a bit hard to find but well worth the search), is also in the area. I am sure you can get other good suggestions for hotels on the Forum. Enjoy Copenhagen, it's a great city.

While Hilton IS an airport hotel, it still is a great hotel, and it is just 12-14 minutes by metro from downtown Copenhagen. There is a metro station under the same roof as the hotel.
However, I am also a fan of the above mentioned Skt Petri hotel, and would also recommend Nimb, Hotel Fox, Twentyseven, and Radisson Blu Royal
