hilton choices in istanbul-need advice

There appears to be 3 hilton hotel choices in Istanbul. the ParkSA Hilton, Hilton Istanbul and the Conrad Istanbul. can anyone give me advice on which might be the best choice for location and amenities?

Last March we stayed at the Hilton that is closest to Taksim Sq. While being near Taksim was nice for dinner options, I found the time it took to get to the main sites rather annoying. I wanted to spend my time at the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, etc - and the taxi ride thru traffic sometimes took us 30 minutes.

I think it depends on what your interests are and how much you are bothered by sitting in traffic.

It was quite a nice hotel.

I've stayed at the Conrad. It's within walking distance of the Taksim area and the Dolmabahce Palace, but not for the majority of the sights.

bringing this ttt. We have hilton points that we'd like to use for part of the time we are in Istanbul. Can anyone help us decide between the Conrad & the Istanbul Hilton? Neither are close to the main sites, so either way it will require a taxi. Any differences between the hotels? Hard to tell from the websites.

Conrads are usually a bit better than the standard Hilton.

Conrad is Nice but at Besiktas.
I do not know howcome Nonconformist finds this location and taksim walking distance !!!! don't know cause it is not. Maybe a misunderstanding of the locations...

Hilton Istanbul is a nice one too, and a landmarks of Istanbul....

Happy travelling,
Murat

The consensus on Flyertalk.com forum is that the Hilton Istanbul is preferable to the other two properties.
