Help with Rome Apartment
We are trying to find an apartment in Rome for 3 people with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms towards the end of June for 1 week, I think we have exhausted the usual web sites, as we haven't had any luck so far. If anyone has any suggestions/recommendations I would apprectiate hearing from you, we are willing to look at all areas. We are hoping to keep the cost below 200 euro a night.

I also recommend using Sleep In Italy.
I used them for an apartment in Sept.as well as my parents who shared with another couple the Via Dell'Orso apt.that is featured on their website.
This apt. did have 2 beds, 2 baths and overall was a pretty good apt.The location was especially convienient off on a side street with restaurants, small grocrey stores etc.The restuarant that has been recommended on Fodors, "L'Orso 80" is practically right underneath it.

We just completed this search. We had a few other criteria, a terrace, an elevator and a location between the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Campo.
We came up with 2 places and have just reserved one of them.
Both were VRBO apartments.

shows one week still open in June.

is the one we decided on.
Here are a few others from our research:

Good luck, it does get frustrating, but it is fun when you find the perfect fit.

Just returned from Rome and also used Sleep in Italy with no problems. www.VRBO.com also has a lot of apartments but none that I have personal experience with.

Thanks to your rave reviews (and the picture on the website of the view out the front!) we just booked the Minerva apartment from SleepinItaly.com for 4 days in July.
So far it has been a very enjoyable experience and the folks have been extremely professional. I just hope the rental itself is even a percentage as good! ;-)
