Hi donnae_b, You may need to rework a little of your Sunday schedule as Westminster and St. Paul's are open for services on Sunday but not touring.

Even without the service issues, I think your Day Two is far to ambitious as it could easily take 2 days to do everything on the list.

Also wondering if there is any particular reason you have allocated a full day to Little Venice. It is a nice area, but I wouldn't consider it a must see.

You may find scheduling back to back day trips from London a bit too much. I can't figure out the all day Canal/Little Venice item either. I've taken the canal ride (from Camden Lock to Little Venice) and it's nice enough but nothing that takes all day. Little Venice is a residential area, there is not a lot to see around there (it's pretty, don't get me wrong, but not a days worth of it).

As someone said you need to rethink your cathedral times too, Sunday there are services.

I'd schedule the Tower for early one a.m. as to avoid crowds.

You are also kind of backtracking if you go to Harrod's, then Picadilly Circus and then out to Earl's Court. Any particular reason for this?

If you are arriving on Sat., Day One, from the U.S. you might want to do your park walking then, it's a nice way to get over jetlag without doing anything to heavy-duty.

Personally I'd move Little Venice, Regent's Park and I love the zoo..to another day and take in Camden Market on the Sunday! And do the churches on the following Friday when there are not services!

I agree with the above, especially Jody's excellent idea to switch your Friday with some of your Sunday.

Day Six - are you actually going to Liverpool? If so, are you going to fly? That would be a mighty long RT train ride for a daytrip. Neat idea, though. I hope you'll tell us about it when you return from your trip.

Day Five - Is the Beatles walking tour on your own or with a walking tour company? The Original London Walks has two different two hour Beatles walks that end at Abbey Road, but the way they're scheduled you can't do both on the same day. If that's who you're going with (The Magical Mystery Tour walk at 2pm on Wednesdays) you can fit quite a bit more sightseeing into the morning on that day.

PS - for Beatles/Abbey Road souvenirs, you might like the Abbey Road Cafe. It's not on Abbey Road at all, but on Finchley Road at the St. John's Wood tube station.

Agree w/ just about everything said so far. Your Sunday is really impossibe (you probably couldn't do that much any day - let alone on a Sunday).

If you are going to eat near Piccadilly Circus later, why are you going there on Saturday too?

Days 5 and 7 really don't have anything. The beatles walking tour is only a couple of hours long. And Little Venice can be done generously in an hour or two. So move several of the things you have on Sunday to days 5 and 7. Then you'll be able to see most of them.

It is usually better to stagger your out of town trips and not do them back to back. All the travel and sitting in coaches can be very tiring, and to turn around and do it again the next day is too much for most folks.
