Help with Keukenhof Combi Ticket
Hi -
I'm staying Amsterdam very close to Amsterdam Central Station. These are my combi ticket options to get to the Keukenhof gardens for the tulip festival. But does anyone know where the Combi Ticket Adult Amsterdam departs from? Does it leave from Amsterdam Central Station?
Combi Ticket Adult Amsterdam 28.50 euro
Combi Ticket Adult Schiphol / Leiden / Haarlem 23.50 euro

You travel from Amsterdam centre (bus line 197 and Keukenhof Express bus line 858)
This Combi-ticket is also valid on bus line 197, this is operated by the Connexxion bus company. You will find bus stops at several locations including the Leidseplein, the Rijksmuseum and the Museumplein. At Schiphol you transfer over to the Keukenhof Express bus line 858.>
The above is from the official Keukenhof Combi-ticket site: http://www.keukenhof.nl/en/plan-your...lic-transport/
The 28.50 e ticket lets you hop on the Arriva bus at places noted above in my copy and paste - you transfer at Schiphol airport to the bus that takes you to the gardens with a priority immediate I guess entry and vice versa going back.
If you want to go by train from Amsterdam Centraal (C.S.) then it's 35 euro (or from any train station in Holland apparently) to Leiden C.S. then a bus to the gardens, again with special entry it seems.
for an extra 6.50 euros I would take the train from Amsterdam C.S. if I were close enough to it as it is quicker I believe than the bus, with Amsterdam's traffic and all.
