palenQ, any suggestions for cute little towns on the Rhine as you suggested to stay overnight and convenient to boat?
Also, what would you pick three nights in munich or four nights in Berlin?

Just about every town on the Rhine is cute - Rudesheim is very popular - too popular for some folks but I think it would be romantic for most and good rail service to Frankfurt Airport via Mainz - most boats start here too so get on early and nab a good seat up front.
