Help With Italy Itinerary

We are not quite sure in what order we should put this itinerary together for italy in June-July 2010. We would like to see a Piccini Opera in torre Del Lago then go to the Maremma for a week in an agriturismo then on to the Marche Region for a week and ending up in a villa near Pienza for a wedding in early July. Should we fly into Florence and fly out of Rome to go home?

I would look at flights to Pisa also. It would be more convenient for the start of your trip, but you will probably find the best deals in and out of Rome.

Hi,
I would fly in to Pisa, go to Maremma next to Torre del Lago and finally Marche flying out from Ancona airport or Rome...
Check the official tourism site for further info and take a look at this article it might help you out!

That's a link for a business and an ad, not the official tourism website. The official website for the Italian Tourist Board is Enit.it which has links for the various regions/cities. Click on a map area.

Hi Oriana, You suggest landing in Pisa and going to Maremma first but isn't Torre Del Lago close to Pisa? Should we not go there first?
Thank you for your suggestions

Pienza is about the same distance from Rome or Florence, but Pisa isn't all that much further either. I would chose which airport by the best flight deal. Into Pisa or Florence and out of any of the three.
