Help with Hotels Florence, Rome
It's our first trip to Florence and Rome. Has anyone stayed at the Grand Hotel Villa Medici in Florence...or the Savoy? Also the Inn at the Spanish Stepts in Rome. We're traveling in March..many hotels were already fully booked. Thanks for your suggestions.

I can't help you, but I am making my first visit in June and staying at the Villa Medici in Florence. Please post your experience on your return.

I am going in June and am staying at the Cesari. It was recommended to me by a friend, and I was pleased to see it is a Fodor's Choice. The rants and raves on Fodor's website were very favorable also.
