That's interesting. Thanks.
By the way, I was told the combo is the same price as if you just book a double (say). But two nights minimum. That's why it's such a good deal. For example, I think that the six-ride pass on the lifts itself is 79 CHF or so. Each up or down counts as one ride.
As I said I think offer only applies for the summer.
Take this x 2 = 158 CHF and you see costs quickly mount.
When we were waiting for the train at Diavolezza we ran into a couple from Lucerne who maintain an apt. in St. Moritz. They claim that Diavolezza is one of their very best experiences -- ahead of Jungfraujoch.
It really was a unique experience and the train ride was quite enjoyable.
They were planning to hike back from Ospitz (sp?) Bernina.

Thanks a lot for the review. Sorry you had such an overpriced meal at Muottas Muragl. Switzerland can be expensive, eh?
More and more hotels offer this 'cable cars and public transportation inclusive' package. It doesn't cost you an extra - really included in the room rate. In winter they offer (did that last March) public transportation for free - not the ski passes or the gondola rides. Still a good deal.
