I thought dul-sex and IMdonehere had been banned, but IM was holding forth on another post (eating my way around Europe) with the claim that there is no decent food in Scotland.

Could the two be the same person under different names?

Thanks to all. Very good suggestions. I will need to do a lot of walking to work off the added calories.

Thanks everyone! Great suggestions, really appreciate it.
And Ttandy - be sure to post a trip report, I really want to hear how it all goes. My friend and I are also early 60s and looking forward to walking, walking, and more walking.

PS - I think dul-sex and IMdonehere are very naff!

Sounds like a lovely trip. I don't have any advice, but I am going to be there just before you and I found that if you go to The Mustard Seed website and sign up they will give you a voucher for a free lunch. I'll try to let you know how it was!
