Help! Who flies between London and Edinburgh?

I'm hoping someone knows an airline that flies between London and Edinburgh?? (Ryan Air does not). Thanks!

I generally use BA or BMI as they both fly out of Heathrow, so are more convenient from central london. You can get some pretty good deals too, if you're flexible about time (ie avoid the morning and evening rush hour).

You can sometimes get a reasonable deal out of London City Airport.

Easyjet goes from Gatwick, Luton and (I think) Stansted. I recently got a return weekend (Fri-Sun) flight from Gatwick with Easyjet for just over £30 including taxes. This was booking quite a bit in advance but I was quite pleased as weekends are normally more expensive.

As Kate has mentioned BMI and BA go out of Heathrow.

I recently booked a May flight on www.flybmi.com (British Midlands or BMI) for 29 GBP from Edinburgh to London Heathrow. This was a special web fare.

I am flying into Gatwick so it was important for me to find a flight out of Gatwick to Edinburgh.

I booked EasyJet for less than 36 GBP/rt.

It's not always that difficult to find cheap round trip fares, but it is more challenging to find cheap one-way fares.

Bettyk, what you say is probably true in many cases but the no-frills airlines described here (eg Easyjet and probably Ryanair and BMI) price all their tickets one way which don't penalise anyone wanting a one-way trip. The example I gave earlier would have cost half if I wanted to do one leg of the journey only.

The same would not be true of BA, the other airline mentioned by previous posters.
