Help - Where to Buy Quechua Shoes?

About 2 years ago my husband and I were in Paris for a few days after doing a lot of walking in a previous leg of our trip, and my husband's shoes gave out. So our first stop in Paris after dropping our bags at the hotel was to buy him a new pair of casual walking shoes - but no shopping at a chic French boutique for my husband. We found a pair of brown leather Quechua brand shoes (they look like rugged bucks) at a large sporting goods store in Paris. These shoes have become seconds skin to him, and of course they finally wore out ... We have searched everywhere for another pair of these shoes, or even just for this brand of shoes, in the U.S. (we live in Washington, D.C.) and on the internet - all to no avail. While my preference would be to fly back to Paris for a new pair, that is not in the cards in the next few months ... so can please anybody help us find this brand of shoes??!!

I love a challenge! Go to www.quechua.com, which is a ski site en Francais. There's a link to their shoes on the site, so I copied it for you. Copy and paste it into your browser, but make sure you highlight the whole thing.

Bonne chance

The link that Betsy gives is for Decathlon, which is likely to have been the sporting goods store that you stopped at. It is a chain with branches all over France. Apparently there are also stores elsewhere in Europe, and in the USA (MA). Quechua is an exclusive Decathlon brand, so unlike Nike or Adidas, you won't find it being sold in any other stores. There is a US website: http://www.decathlon-usa.com/us/brands/marque_index.asp
However, they don't seem to offer online shopping, so I imagine that calling them would be the next best thing...

Thanks so very much to both of you for your tremendously helpful replies. Hanl, Decathlon was the store, but I never would have remembered the name of it. I've found the exact shoes online thanks to the links you both attached, and my husband is so grateful. Of course, the shoes were on the Decathlon - France website, rather than the Decathlon - U.S.A. website, so this still could require a trip back to France to pick them up Thanks again!
