Help-- Rome Hotels!

Can anyone recommend a hotel near Piazza Navonna for E150-175? Thanks.

We stayed at the Santa Chiara, a few minutes from piazza navona (very close to the Pantheon) but I think it's a little more than your budget (I'm assuming you're looking for a double room). If you do a text search on 'rome hotels', you'll find lots of information on hotels in your price range and in that area.

Try Hotel Portoghesi or Due Torri.

Portoghesi is booked. That was my first choice. Santa Chiara and Due Torri are over E200. It seems like a lot for typical 3 star accomodation, but I guess it's the premium for being in the heart of the action....

We stayed at Hotel Navonna in March this year. Budget but very clean, great owners, awesome location. I would stay there again. My room was 118.00 euros.

The Hotel Navonna is very clean, the bathroom we had was ensuite. There was a bidet and toilet, shower no tub. The shower was great, good water pressure.
Our room was 2 twins, small with closet. No TV, or clock or telephone.
Very budget, I would stay there for the location and price.
The owners were very helpful and friendly. If price is not a issue, I like alittle more amenities.

I realize that this is my opinion but I did not like the staff member who answered my inquiry email at the Portoghesi. He told me to look at their website if I need info. That is not what I call 1/2 good service at all. I think there were some unfavorable comments here also last year.

I am truly in favor of the Sta. Chiara or Navona instead.

For traveller212, try Hotel Parlamento.. Great location, walking distance to Trevi, Piazza Navona, just off Via del Corso. I used to go to a different hotel just off Piazza di Spagna....but now everytime i go to Rome , i prefer to stay there for the location, friendly staff and modern bathrooms..THeir e-mail is: [email protected]
