Help! Need hotel in Paris for tonite...

Hello and thank you in advance for your help. As a last minute change because we fell in love with Paris my sis and I decided to change the Switzerland leg of our trip and go back to Paris... problem is I already changed train tickets and all and cannot find an affordable hotel... (50 to 70E) any ideas?

Thank you!

Go to the tourist office, that's one thing they are supposed to do, help people book rooms and they should know vacancies.

They do hotel reservations at their office at 25 rue des Pyramides. They also have welcome centers in the Gare de Lyon and Gare du Nord, if that's where you will be.

Its not very nice but the location is fantastic and the price meets your needs...It's called Hotel Du Commerce it's in the 5th on Rue De La Montagne Ste. Genevieve, near rur Monge.

The shower and sink are in your room but the WC is in the hallway...it's only for one night so it's no biggie, unless you're particular about that.

The website is http://www.commerce-paris-hotel.com/index.html

I forgot....you might wanna check out hostelworld.com

It's not only for hostels, they have many budget hotels as well, and you might be able to find something there.

Let us know how you do!

There's always the Etap hotels, one at Porte d'Orleans for instance...

Or just go to www.Accorhotels.com or Laterooms.com or Ratestogo.com and book something, anything that looks good.

Um, it's after 2 am in Paris now. If the OP hasn't found a place to stay by now, I doubt our suggestions are going to be of much use.

The original poster posted at 6:06 PM Eastern time on May 20, which means it was 1 AM Paris time on May 21. Presumably the poster wants the room for the night of May 21, so the responses are still timely.
