BR - Right! Too easy, wasn't it?

Does that make you another Deep Purple fan?
Whew! I thought I was the only one left ...

LOL.....well, to tell the truth, my MOM was the Deep Purple fan. I grew up listening to them, and just about anything else out there. I'll always be grateful to my folks for introducing me to all kinds of great music, whether it was rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass, classical, big band...you name it. My CD collection is somewhat eclectic, although it doesn't NEARLY match the amazing library of nearly 5 thousand (5,000) CD's that one of my husband's co-workers has amassed. On variety and sheer volume, he's got me beat by wayyyy more than a mile!

OK, building on the X this time.

7 letters, the X is the third letter.

Clue: This town, not on the main continent, was a busy place during WWII, and to this day, still sees a lot of traffic, both on the ground and in the air.

And Bexhill is located in a prime spot where it might have been a radar site during the war and an air traffic control center today. Funny that the local paper there is the Observer.

Answer is probably something like that. Foxhall, Wexford, ...

1st clue: This town, not on the main continent, was a busy place during WWII, and to this day, still sees a lot of traffic, both on the ground and in the air.

2nd clue: Better get all yours in a row!

Yep! Duxford: one of the earliest Royal Air Force stations, with its aerodrome being built during WWI, playing a key role during WWII, and maintaining its military and wartime service until its last operational RAF flight in July 1961. Now home to the Imperial War Museum.

Sorry, meant to include the URL for the Imperial War Museum. I went with my hubby a few years ago. Sometimes I get tired of all the military history stuff, but Duxford was very interesting!
