Help in planning extra week in Europe

My wife and I (Canadians) are fortunate to have won our second european vacation. First one entailed a one week Rhine River cruise, 3 days in Venice and four days in Rome. Our next will include 1 week in Rome but not sure what to do with 2nd week. Paris?, european cruise, or any other suggestions. Our second week will be in the second week of April/08. Please give any input. Thanks

Hi V,

Lucky you.

A week in Rome followed by a week in Paris would be as nice as 2 weeks in Italy.

Thanks, anyone else have an idea. I heard it may be hard to get a european cruise in early April.

Wow! Congrats, what a wonderful thing!

What do you like to do?
Museums and architecture? Beautiful scenery and hiking?
Are you foodies? Shopping?
Do you want to relax or go until you fall asleep exhausted each night?

First, congratulations!! Second, I agree with ira. One week in Rome followed by one week in Paris sounds great.

As a matter of fact, that is what my next trip coming up in October/November is. What ever you decide, have a great trip.
