Help get us from Granada to Sevilla!

Hi,
I'm trying to find a reputable driver to pick us up (4 adults+luggage) at our Granada hotel and drive us to our Sevilla hotel. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you!

Is there any reason why you wouldn't take the Alsa bus or the train? It is very convenient and easy.

As CathyM says, take the bus or train.

It's about a 3 hour drive. 4 people with luggage will need a small van/people mover. You can expect to pay in excess of 400€ for a hired car and driver for such a trip.

I've done the trip by rail which took between 3-4 hours. However, there is no reason NOT to get a hired car if you would prefer that so topping this for you. I think the problem is that most people would opt for the public transport option in this case so you may not get a lot of information, unfortunately.

We've been very happy with the services of NerjaTaxis for transport between Málaga airport and Nerja. Nerja is pretty far off from Granada, but you might send them a mail and ask if they can recommend a similar high quality service in Granada.

Personally I can highly recommend the driver Pedro Sánchez García in Nerja taxi. Pleasant guy and excellent driver. It will take him some 90 mins to get to Granada, but for such a "mission", I'm sure you will come to an agreement. He can be contacted at [email protected]

The reason I'd prefer private transport is that one of our party is my 85 yr old mom. The train or bus may not be tiring in itself, but there's the getting to the train, and then from the train, with the luggage - you get the idea.

So thank you all for writing, especially kimhe. Any more ideas?

Wouldn't it work out better if you rent a car? Wouldn't this be an issue for each long distance land segment?

If I take my 87yr old father, I would still choose a train. He needs to go to a restroom frequently, and every highway rest stop is a 30min ordeal. Restrooms in restaurants can be upstairs or in the basement.
