Help finding URL for a French tourism info office
I've searched hi & lo, and can't find the post which spelled out how to contact the tourist information office in any given French town. Was it like www.sarlat-turisme.fr? Can anyone help?

I don't see anything of that form, but www.tourisme.fr has lots of search tools that might get you what you want.

Thanks, Robespierre, that put me on the right track. The general format is as follows:
www.thetownsname-tourisme.com
www.thetownsname-tourisme.com

Also www.ot-nameoftown.com works for many places. "OT" stands for "office de tourisme."
However, I often find that such links take you to "unofficial" sites selling their own agenda. To find official sites, I go to Google and enter something like "ville de Rouen". That gives you the official municipal site with things like schools, bus lines, city hall office hours -- but also always has a link to the OFFICIAL city tourism site.
