We are trying to find private transfer from Monte Gordo, Portugal to Seville, Spain.

Our plans are as follows:
1) pick up car in Lisbon
2) spend 3 nights in Sintra
3) drive to Lagos and spend 3 nights

This is where we are in a quandary....

Since there are no trains, and the cost to drop the car in Seville is exorbitant, we are trying to drop the car in Monte Gordo (or somewhere between Lagos and Monte Gordo), and get a private transfer to Seville. The going rate seems to be about 250 Euros.

I tried Seville Services, but they are not available. Any suggestions on how to do a successful search for a reputable company?

Our fall back plan is to get on the bus. Can you catch the bus from Monte Gordo?

You might find this site helpful for buses: http://www.algarvebus.info/001.htm - note the info on the ferry, which you would use if you dropped the car in Monte Gordo instead of Lagos (why?).

Have you tried contacting Seville Services (www.sevilleservices.com)? They should be able to arrange the transfer.

We did try Seville Services. They have no availability on the day we need the transfer. I was hoping to find another service like theirs...looking for other company recommendations. Do you know any other companies, Robert2533?

There's not much, but you can check with Taxi Gama Alta Huelva (www.taxialtagamahuelva.es). You can contact them by email or telephone.

Faro Taxi also does transfers to Sevilla (www.farotaxi.com). The cost of this transfer service would be around €190 for up to 4 passengers, plus the booking fee of €5. It can be booked online.
