Help choosing apartment in Barcelona

I followed Nikki's suggestion and checked out Habitat apartments. Need some help deciding between two locations - prices are close. Both are on opposite ends of Eixample. Apartment 1C is a short walk from the Arc de Triomph stop on the red line. Olivera apartment is about a 5 minute walk from Placa D'Espanya near Montjuic . We will be taking public transportation to and from the airport.

Thanks again.

Jeff

Atc the Triomph is closer to El Born ...
Espanya is closer to the airport, but if you are taking the bus, it goes to Catalunya.. (don't know if it stops at Espanya).
I prefer A de C area to Espanya area.

Could you post the links for the apt.?

The apt is your choice, but A de C is much better location
- closer to El Born , Catalunya , and Passeig de Gracia.

The Parc 1C Apt is in a nicer neighborhood, and it's not on the ground floor as Olivera Apt. in Poble Sec (not Eixample, they probably labeled it as being in Eixample as it's a quite preferred area).
You should consider taking a cab on your day of arrival to get to the apartment. It's not an overly expensive issue.. around €25. For your daily travel needs, you have excellent city bus connections on Gran Via (for Parc 1C Apt), so there is no need to walk to the Metro all the time.

www.apartmentinbarcelona.net have most of their apartments close to anything: city centre or the beach or maybe far away from city centre but calm areas, very close to subways...

It is just a matter of checking, in Barcelona there are LOTS of options! These i tried myself over the years and they are pretty good

Hope it helped and good luck!!
