Help-Buying RailEurope Tics for First Time

Buying 3 train legs in Italy for family of four for June on Eurostar trains. How to I get seat assignments so sit together? What is best way to get the tics delivered? Are there any extra fees? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

First, buy your tickets online at www.trenitalia.com and not on Raileurope which is more expensive. You can only book 60 days in advance.

Of course, Bob is right as usual. And if you buy them on trenitalia, just choose the ticketless option, then print out the email confirmation and show it to the conductor when he comes around (in this case, you don't need to stamp the tickets before getting on the train, very easy).

I wonder if you really mean Raileurope, I suspect not. Raileurope is a travel agent, of sorts, and would answer all of these questions for you -- their website discusses delivery and fees, also.

You will pay at least $15.00 S+H fees for any product you buy from RailEurope (in this case it would be a total of $15.00 for all of those tickets.

I agree with the plan of buying the tickets using the trenitalia.com website.

As an alternative: are you going to be IN Italy for at least a day or two prior to your first rail trip? If so, it might be just as easy to wait and buy the tickets after you arrive although buying them 60 days out through the trenitalia.com site might bring the possibility of a special or extra savings.
