Help: Birthday Party on Italian Lakes

I am planning a friend's birthday party on the Italian Lakes. I am struggling to find an elegant and luxurious hotel with 30-40 rooms and a restaurant with a terrace and fab views. Any ideas????

The Hotel Lido Palace in Bevano, right on Lago Maggiore, fits your description. The view from their dining room is of the lake. Fantastic!

Buon Viaggio,

Wow. What fun. When does the party take place?
You might check out the villa Serbelloni with 85 rooms on Lake como in Bellagio. Villa del Sogno on Lake Garda also appears to have lakeside views and 32 rooms. Grand Hotel Fasano also on Garda has 87 rooms. Villa Cortine Palace Hotel has 54 rooms in Sirmione on Lake Garda. Grand Hotel victoria has 53 rooms in Menaggio on Lake Como. Grand Hotel Menaggio is a little less old world elegant but has perhaps a better terrace. Not sure how many rooms, probably at least 30. L'Albereta in Erbusco is in the middle of wine fields near but not on Lake Iseo, has 48 rooms and a top notch restaurant plus a spa and lovely rooms with fantastic public rooms in modern style. No terrace though.

The party is in July so not a lot of time to get something sorted. Thank you for all the suggestions I will take a look at their websites now.

this hotel is too small, but the grounds are gorgeous as are the dining rooms.
the lawn celebrations there must be to die for. we flicked through a book of weddings and celbrations.

villa crespi on lago orta, san giulio.

we loved our short stop there.

I've come across Villa Crespi and was very disappointed to see that they only have 15 rooms - it does look fab!

Jennie, Two hotels on the west shore of Lago Como come to mind. The G.H. Tremezzo is more elegant but I prefer the location for G.H. Menaggio, right next to the ferry dock to Bellagio.

Thanks to everyone that offered suggestions. It looks like the party will be at L'Albereta in Erbusco.

Thanks for reporting back on your choice. L'Albereta should be terrific for your party. Please let us know all about it.
